Technologies - this is the current library of devices that address water efficiency or consumption reduction
- Retrofit Technologies - refer to the installation or
integration of water-saving devices, fixtures, or systems
- Industrial Technologies - provides bespoke case studies of technologies or processes that are industry specific and might be applicable for your customers.
What doesn't the portal do?
- It is not a procurement portal (like Achilles)
- While all technologies have been assessed independently by Isle Utilities (see due diligence levels below), their inclusion is not a recommendation for use (see disclaimer)
Disclaimer
- All technologies/solutions have been independently selected as they might have the potential to meet the water efficiency needs of water retail customers in England and Wales.
- The technologies have been independently assessed, however inclusion in this Portal is not a recommendation. All Retailers will have to complete their own due diligence for use of technologies.
- It is the retailers responsibility to contact the technology/solution provider directly to verify the information provided in this portal and it should be noted that the costs are indicative.
- There is no obligation to contact, trial or implement the technology/solutions.
Due Diligence Levels
Level 1 - Isle has assessed this technology using online information, without contact with the technology provider. One or more of the following applies;
- This technology has had their basic operating principles confirmed
- The technology has not supplied sufficient evidence of claimed benefits
- The technology has not supplied their business model outline and financial outline
- No cost is available at this time for the technology
- The technology has been included on consultancy offerings with no further investigation
Level 2 - Isle has assessed this technology using online information and supplementary information by the technology provider. One or more of the following applies;
- This technology has had their operating principles validated
- The technology has supplied sufficient evidence of the claimed benefits, i.e pilot trials and data
- The technology/business is self sufficient through successful funding rounds or as part of a larger business
- The technology has been longlisted for TAG/iTAG/TR but requires further development & data information before being taken forward for presentation
Level 3 - Isle has assessed this technology as part of our TAG process, where the technology has been initially processed as per Level 1 and 2. Level 3 requires a further level of assessment and detail in order for technologies to be shortlisted to present their product to subject matter experts. One or more of the following applies;
- This technology has completed trials and has proof of concept in a pilot/commercial setting
- The technology has proof of claimed benefits and is able to demonstrate these effectively.
- The technology/business is self sufficient through successful funding rounds or as part of a larger business
- The technology has been nominated to be presented to a panel of SMEs
- The technology has been fully assessed by Isle through the TAG, iTAG, Trial Reservoir.
